Early this morning, the Russian military launched a missile attack on Dnipro, causing fires and significant damage to several sites, including a rehabilitation center for people with disabilities. The boiler room of the center was partially destroyed, and windows were shattered. Fortunately, no injuries were reported at this location.
A garage cooperative was also hit, resulting in a fire that damaged nine garages, according to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
“In addition, as I reported earlier, an industrial enterprise was damaged, as well as two private houses. A fire broke out in one of the houses but was extinguished. Preliminary reports indicate two people were injured. A 57-year-old man received treatment on the spot, while a 42-year-old woman was hospitalised,” Lysak stated.
Utility workers are currently addressing the aftermath at the affected sites, while the National Police are documenting reports of property damage.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the attack occurred between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. The Russian forces launched an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Astrakhan Region, an X-47M2 Kinzhal from a MiG-31K fighter jet, and seven X-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS bombers. Ukrainian air defense units intercepted six of the cruise missiles.
