This morning, between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m., the Russian military launched a missile attack on Dnipro using various types of missiles. The targets included industrial facilities and critical infrastructure.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russian forces launched an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Astrakhan Region, an X-47M2 Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missile from a MiG-31K fighter jet based in the Tambov Region, and seven X-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers operating in the Volgograd Region.
“During the anti-aircraft battle, Air Force missile units successfully intercepted six X-101 cruise missiles. The remaining missiles caused limited damage,” the Air Force reported.
There are currently no reports of casualties. However, two people sustained injuries, and the strikes caused damage to an industrial enterprise and a rehabilitation center.
The Air Force has reiterated the importance of adhering to air raid alarms.
“We also call on media professionals and bloggers to responsibly report on the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and any threats to Ukraine,” the statement emphasised.
