The Executive Board of the United Nations World Food Programme has approved an interim strategic plan for Ukraine for 2025-2027 with a budget of $2.1 billion.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

‘The Executive Board of the United Nations World Food Programme has approved an interim strategic plan for Ukraine for 2025-2027 with a total budget of $2.1 billion,’ he wrote.

The plan provides for humanitarian assistance, support for civilians, continuation of the demining process and support for Ukraine's export potential in supplying agricultural products to international markets.

‘We are grateful to our partners for their consistent support of Ukraine and Ukrainians during the full-scale war with Russia,’ the Prime Minister added.
