The aftermath of a Russian attack on Zaporizhzhya on 6 December has left significant destruction, including a service station that was completely destroyed. The number of victims has risen to 26.
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration, 26 people have been wounded, with 12 remaining in hospitals as of 10:00 a.m. The casualties include three children: two girls aged four months and four years, and an 11-year-old boy.
The attack also claimed 10 lives, eight of whom were in cars when the shelling occurred.
The blast wave and debris caused widespread damage, impacting five multi-storey buildings, eight private houses, a hostel, and several shops.
Emergency services continue working at the site to address the consequences of the strike.
