Sweden and Denmark are joining forces to buy a batch of infantry fighting vehicles from BAE Systems Hägglunds for SEK 25 billion, Dagens Nyheter reports.
This includes about 115 combat vehicles for Denmark and 50 for Sweden, as well as 40 modern CV90s for Ukraine.
Earlier, Sweden gave our country 50 old combat vehicles, and the current procurement is a replacement for the Swedish army - but in a much more modern version.
- Last month, seven European countries agreed to step up their support for Ukraine. This was announced in a joint statement by the heads of government of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Norway, Poland and Sweden.
