Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has killed 50 Ukrainian clergymen and destroyed 700 churches.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with CBN.
‘A lot of priests, different priests, they were captured. Or they were killed. By the way, they (Russians - ed.) killed 50. And they killed them in different ways. There is all the evidence of how they tortured them,’ Zelenskyy said.
According to the President, the occupiers tortured the priests ‘only because they were supposed to serve Kirill, the Patriarch of Moscow, and serve their church.’
In addition, the Russian army destroyed about 700 churches with bombs and attacked with missiles.
