Within the framework of the initiative of the President of Ukraine Bring Kids Back UA, three children - a 17-year-old boy and two young boys - were returned from the temporary occupation.
This was reported by Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.
‘The first story is about a young woman who was forced to leave Ukraine because of the war. She was separated from her two young sons, who remained in the temporarily occupied territory in Donetsk Region with their biological father,’ the Ombudsman writes.
The children were evacuated from the occupied territory and reunited with their mother.
‘The second story is about a 17-year-old boy who has become a symbol of courage. He supported Ukraine in the occupied territory. Because of this, he was persecuted by representatives of the occupation authorities: interrogations, threats, intimidation became commonplace for the boy. However, neither fear nor pressure broke his spirit,’ Lubinets adds.
