Today, there were many meetings with the Ministry of Defence, the General Staff and the Foreign Intelligence Service. In particular, they discussed preparations for Ramstein and Ukraine's needs.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his address.
‘Today we also discussed some details of our work with the European Union - regarding the negotiation process. The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, government officials, and the Office team were present. This year should be as productive in the negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU as Ukraine needs, and therefore the security of our entire Europe,’ the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy reminded that this year's EU presidency will be held by Poland, and in the second half of the year, Denmark will hold the presidency.
The President of Ukraine said that he had a conversation with the President of Switzerland, in particular about stabilisation in Syria. Zelenskyy proposed that Switzerland join in supplying food to Syria to help the people of Syria rebuild their lives after the war and, importantly, after Russia in Syria.
