In the morning of 18 January, the Russian army attacked the centre of Zaporizhzhya. The shelling damaged residential buildings and an administrative building. This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration.
As of 09.00, the number of wounded increased to 10. Two of the injured were treated by medics at the site of the rocket attack. Eight people were hospitalised. A 48-year-old woman is in serious condition.
Russian shelling partially destroyed the administrative building of an industrial facility. Residential buildings and private vehicles were damaged.

In Shevchenkivskyy district, windows were smashed and there is smoke in the entrance of a residential building. The glass elements of the entrance to Lukyanivska metro station were also damaged.
