In 2024, Ukraine produced over 30,000 bomber drones, referred to by the Russians as “Baba Yaga,” Ukroboronprom reported.
“The bomber drone is one of the products of Ukrainian arms manufacturers that emerged during the full-scale invasion. The enemy calls them ‘Baba Yaga’ because these drones have truly become a nightmare for them. Operating mostly at night, they deliver devastating blows to enemy equipment and personnel,” the statement said.
It was noted that dozens of models of bomber drones are already in use in Ukraine, with over 30,000 units produced last year.
These drones also play a crucial role in delivering ammunition, food, and medicine to positions inaccessible by land and are effective in remote mining operations.
