The UK will support Ukraine as long as necessary to guarantee a stable peace.

This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy following talks in Kyiv with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer

‘Ukraine and the UK have agreed to allocate at least $3.6 billion in annual assistance to Ukraine. As much as it was needed,’ the President said.

According to the President of Ukraine, an agreement was also reached to allocate an additional $3 billion from confiscated Russian assets to Ukraine.

‘This fiscal year, we have to reach $6.6 billion from the UK,’ the President of Ukraine added.

For his part, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer assured that the UK was ready to play a key role in supporting Ukraine for a strong and stable peace.

‘It is important for Ukraine to be in the strongest position... Peace through strength should not be just words... It should be actions,’ he said.
