Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Valeriy Zaluzhnyy has confirmed the plan for Kyiv and London to sign a centenary agreement. The ambassador is currently in the Ukrainian capital as part of a delegation accompanying British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

According to Zaluzhnyy, the partnership agreement will cover a range of areas from defence to science and culture. Ukraine and the UK also plan to resume the work of the Strategic Partnership Dialogue.

"This is the tool that will allow us to effectively discuss and resolve various issues of bilateral cooperation. We need to be together to become even stronger in this difficult struggle that Ukraine is waging against the aggressor," he commented.

Today, Keir Starmer has arrived in Ukraine on his first visit as head of the British government. The plan to sign a centenary partnership agreement was reported by Politico.
