President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed that the United States has not halted military assistance to Ukraine, while noting that reports about a 90-day suspension of US humanitarian programmes require further analysis, Ukrinform reports.
Speaking at a press conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Zelenskyy stated, “I can only comment on military aid, and I am focused on ensuring it. It has not been stopped, thank God.”
He added that while he is aware of some restrictions, particularly regarding humanitarian programmes, further details need to be examined.
Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation, earlier clarified that while the US State Department has paused some foreign aid, support for Ukraine’s defence remains unaffected.
