On 1 February, Russia launched another combined attack on Ukrainian cities, using missiles, attack drones, and air bombs. Six people died as a result of Russian terror.

This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

In Poltava, a shell hit a residential building and completely destroyed the entrance - ten people were injured, including a child. All the necessary services are working at the scene, rescuing people and providing necessary assistance.

"There are damages in Zaporizhzhya, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyy and Kyiv Regions. As of now, we know about six injured people. In Kharkiv, one person was killed in a drone attack. Two lives were lost in this Russian attack in the Sumy Region. My condolences to the families and friends," the President said.

The Head of State emphasises: "Each such terrorist act proves that we need more support in defence against Russian terror. Every air defence system, every anti-missile is a life-saver. It is very important that our partners act, fulfil our agreements and increase pressure on Russia".
