During a conversation between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump, they discussed Ukraine's readiness to purchase additional systems.

This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his evening address. ‘The main thing for us is air defence, additional air defence systems, missiles for them. To protect people's lives, to protect our cities. We are counting on the decision of our partners - we need systems, they are available in the world, and we need a political decision to make air defence work here in Ukraine: Dnipro, Kryvyy Rih, Nikopol, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Mykolayiv, Odesa and many other cities and communities. We talked about this with the President of the United States of America, with President Trump: Ukraine is not just asking - we are ready to buy the appropriate additional systems. And strong weapons are the only thing that can be trusted to protect lives when you have a neighbour like Russia. So that Ukrainian children can study in safety right at school, not online, but offline, just like in America, just like everywhere else in Europe,’ the Head of State said.

The President also instructed the government to make a decision on financing electronic warfare systems, including the allocation of UAH 540 million.

“There’s already a decision regarding additional funding for our frontline communities, those bordering Russia, the ones constantly under attack and shelling. Up to 10 million hryvnias for each of these communities — depending on the number of people living there. And this won’t be a one-time payment — we plan to provide this kind of regular support to cover the communities’ urgent needs,” the President adds.
