President Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid tribute to the victims of Russian terror on 4 April in Kryvyy Rih

The President wrote about this on Facebook.

‘Kryvyy Rih. An ordinary city district. Residential buildings around, only civilian buildings. On 4 April, a Russian ballistic missile struck right next to houses and a playground, right on the street, and took the lives of 19 people, 9 of whom were children.

He honoured the memory of the dead. We have no right to forget the crimes committed by Russia against Ukrainians... May the memory of all those whose lives were taken by Russian terror be eternal,’ the statement reads.

The President stressed that everyone in the world should remember that human life is worthless to Russia.

  • On 4 April, 74 people were injured in Kryvyy Rih as a result of a ballistic missile and shahed attack. 20 people were killed, including 9 children.
  • Ukrainian cities and villages declared 6 April a day of mourning for the victims of the attack. They were joined by a number of embassies.
