Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on his Telegram page that Russians have fired four missile strikes on the city.

According to the official, at least one Russian missile was aimed at the densely populated Osnovyanskyy district of Kharkiv. A multi-storey building was confirmed to have been hit. 

According to the updated data, the number of wounded increased to 98. One person died.

Six children are known to be wounded, including four girls aged 3, 4, 14 and 16, and a 17-year-old boy. 

"Multi-storey residential buildings, an educational institution, and cars were damaged. The roof of a two-storey building, a workshop and a building with a total area of about 450 square metres caught fire on the territory of the enterprise," the SES said in a statement.

One 79-year-old man died in his apartment. 

According to preliminary data, Russia used cluster missiles for the strike. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, these were three Iskander-M missiles. 

"According to preliminary information, the strikes on Kharkiv were carried out by ballistic missiles with cluster munitions. That is why the damage areas are very large," the mayor said.
