On 8 and 9 May, Polish writer, essayist, poet, screenwriter, Nobel Prize in Literature and winner of many prestigious literary awards Olga Tokarczuk will come to Ukraine on a solidarity visit.

This was reported by the Polish Institute in Kyiv on its official Facebook page. On 8 May, the meeting in Kyiv will be moderated by writer and philosopher Volodymyr Yermolenko, and on 9 May, the conversation will be led by essayist and translator Ostap Slyvynskyy in Lviv.

Before her visit, Olga Tokarchuk recorded a video, in which she emphasises that she is fascinated by the interest in literature among Ukrainians, despite the missile attacks and the state of full-scale war.
