The N.P. Fyodorov Dubna Machine-Building Plant (DMZ) is one of the key components of the Russian defence industry. The plant is located in Dubna, Moscow Region, and has been part of the Kronstadt Concern since 2020. Its main specialisation is the production of combat UAVs, in particular the Orion complex (Russians call it an analogue of Bayraktar). These drones are used by Russia against Ukraine. The company is engaged in full-scale serial production, as well as design development: of new versions of drones with advanced combat capabilities.
DMZ also has composite processing workshops and modern avionics and control system assembly lines. The plant operates in a war economy mode, increasing output even under sanctions pressure.
