The Stih u regiji / SUR 2025 International Poetry Festival is taking place in Zagreb from 26 to 29 June, bringing together authors from more than ten countries. The programme includes performances, literary readings, book presentations and intercultural dialogues. Ukrainian PEN writes about this on its Facebook page.
On the first day of the festival, Croatian PEN presented an anthology of contemporary Ukrainian poetry, Ukrajina 2024, translated and edited by Alla Tatarenkova. This is the second poetic chronicle of the war published in Croatian.
The presentation was attended by poets Halyna Kruk, Kateryna Mikhalitsyna, Yuliya Musakovska, Olha Olkhova and Maryana Savka.
