Twelve windows of the Galeries Lafayette department store in Paris are dedicated to the Ukrainian brand Ruslan Baginskiy. This was announced on her Facebook page by Iryna Danylevska, founder of Ukrainian Fashion Week. This summer, the Ruslan Baginskiy brand is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a historic event in the heart of Paris. The Ukrainian designer has decorated 12 shop windows at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann and opened a pop-up store and a shop-in-shop for his brand. The main Galeries Lafayette building is an architectural landmark in the heart of the French capital, which welcomes 27 million visitors every year and is the leading European department store in terms of sales. This month, the facade of the iconic building was decorated with a specially created 140 m² banner by Ruslan Baginskiy in blue and yellow colours. The project itself was included in the official programme of Paris Fashion Week, emphasising the significance of the event for Ukrainian design on the international stage. "For me and the team, this is more than just a project — it is an important moment dedicated to Ukrainian culture: its strength, sophistication, creativity and ability to inspire the whole world. It is a story about our home with a great love for who we are. Every day, the windows will be seen by thousands of people who have come to Paris this summer. We believe in the language of culture, and every window in the city centre is our voice," says Ruslan. Ruslan Baginskiy's installation can be seen from 8 July to 25 August.
