The international release in Germany and Austria almost coincides with the Ukrainian one. According to Yevhen Drachov, Head of International Distribution and Licensing at FILM.UA Distribution, the success of Mavka in 2023 was an important sign of confidence in Ukrainian cinema, and cooperation with German partners continues. Plans also include the release of the romantic fantasy Mavka: The True Myth on 5 March in Germany.
