Over the past day, the Russian army attacked Sumy Region, wounding nine people there. Residential buildings, shops, a shopping mall, cars, warehouses, and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged.
This was reported by the regional police.
In the Sumy community, as a result of air attacks using strike drones, men aged 43 and 50 were wounded. A multi-apartment residential building, a private house, a shop, two passenger cars, outbuildings, and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged.
In the Bilopillya community, a 65-year-old man was injured after a UAV hit a car. A shopping mall and a non-residential building were also damaged.
In the Berezivka community, a 30-year-old woman was injured after a Russian drone strike.
In the Putyvl community, a 66-year-old man was injured and a 56-year-old woman was wounded as a result of a UAV attack.
In the Shostka community, a 36-year-old man was wounded after a drone hit a car.
In the Popivka community, an 86-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman were injured as a result of a UAV strike.
For each of these incidents, police investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
