On the night of 14 July, 2026, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine struck a number of important military-economic and military targets of Russia.
As the General Staff reported, among the targets hit was the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat oil refining complex in Russia’s Bashkortostan. A hit on the facility was recorded, followed by a fire on the company’s premises. The extent of the damage and the results of the strikes are being clarified.
The enterprise is one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes in the Russian Federation. Its design processing capacity is about 10 million tons of oil per year. The complex produces gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, lubricants, and other products used to meet the needs of the economy and the war machine of the aggressor state.
The Afipskiy oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai was also hit again. A fire also broke out in the area of the facility. The extent of the damage and the results of the strikes are being clarified.
The Afipskiy refinery has a design capacity of about 6.25 million tons of oil per year and is one of the key oil refining enterprises in southern Russia, providing the production of motor fuels and components for the needs of the aggressor state. It is involved in supplying the Russian army.
In addition, the ship transshipment area near Gelendzhik in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai was hit. It is used for transshipping Russian oil and supporting the functioning of the Russia’s maritime and military logistics. The extent of the damage and the results of the strikes are being уточнюються.
Also, five tankers, five cargo vessels, and a tugboat were hit in the waters of the Sea of Azov. The tankers are used to transport Russian oil and petroleum products bypassing international sanctions. The cargo vessels and the tug ensure the shipment of military cargo, equipment, supplies, and the functioning of the Russian maritime logistics.
In addition, a Russian ammunition depot in Donetsk and a logistics hub in Luhansk were hit.
“The Defence Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically carry out measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation,” the General Staff wrote.
