Consequences of the strike

On 7 June and during the night of 8 June, units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck a number of military, logistical and fuel infrastructure facilities belonging to the Russian occupation forces. Among the targets were a major transit oil depot and a radar station.

According to the General Staff, the Grushovaya transhipment oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, near the settlement of Grushovaya Balka, was hit. A fire was reported at the site, while the extent of the damage is still being assessed.

The Grushovaya oil depot forms part of the Sheskharis transhipment complex — the terminus of the main oil pipelines in southern Russia. The facility is responsible for the reception, accumulation, storage and transhipment of crude oil and petroleum products through the seaport of Novorossiysk. The total capacity of the complex’s tank farm is approximately 1.4 million cubic metres, with the Grushovaya site serving as its principal storage facility.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces also struck the Krasny Yar Linear Production Station (LPS) in Russia’s Volgograd Region. A fire broke out at the site, and the extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

The Krasny Yar LPS is a key facility on oil supply routes in two strategic directions: towards the Volgograd Oil Refinery and onwards to the Sheskharis export terminal in Novorossiysk via the Kuibyshev–Tikhoretsk oil pipeline.

Additionally, a Russian radar station was destroyed near the village of Kabardinka in Krasnodar Krai.

Drone control centres were struck in the areas of Novobohdanivka and Novoivanivka in Zaporizhzhya Region, Voskresenka in Donetsk Region, and Konopelka in Russia’s Kursk Region.

In Zaporizhzhya Region, Ukrainian forces also struck a workshop belonging to Russia’s unmanned aerial vehicle unit in the Burchak area.

Strikes were further carried out against Russian logistics depots in the Vasylivka area of Zaporizhzhya Region and the Zelene Pole area of Donetsk Region.

Ukrainian forces also struck concentrations of Russian personnel in the areas of Berestok in Donetsk Region, Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhya Region, and Basivka in Sumy Region.

The results of strikes carried out on 6 June 2026 against the Ust-Labinskaya oil depot in Krasnodar Krai have also been confirmed. A loading and unloading trestle, fuel storage tanks, and two tankers containing fuel and lubricants were damaged.
