Odesa was targeted on 27 May by Russian strike drones in a deliberate attack on civilian infrastructure. As a result of a drone impact, residential buildings, a branch of Nova Poshta, and a grocery store were damaged. Several private cars caught fire.
According to updated information, the number of injured has risen to 11, said Oleh Kiper.
“Information on the consequences of the attack is being clarified. All relevant services are working at the scene. Assistance is being provided to the injured,” he said.
At 13:47, an air raid alert was declared again in the region. The Air Force warned of incoming drones heading toward Odesa.
Among the injured are two children. Doctors assess the condition of three of the wounded as severe. In total, eight people have been hospitalised.
