Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed strikes on Russian Regions. He wrote that “long-range sanctions” were at work in the Rostov Region, the Yaroslavl Region, and the Udmurt Republic.

According to the head of state, an export terminal about 250 kilometers from the front line was hit. Deep strikes were also carried out against oil facilities in the Yaroslavl region and the Udmurt Republic, 1,300 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border.

The president said the long-range sanctions plan continues to be implemented, reducing Russia’s ability to finance the war.

He thanked Ukraine’s Defence Forces for their accurate work on locations that until very recently had been “deep in the Russian rear.”

“With our responses, we are bringing the war back to Russia so that, ultimately, a decent peace has a chance,” Zelenskyy commented.

  • Russians complained overnight about a drone attack. In particular, they reported fires in the area of the Rostov port.
