In the first half of 2026, partner supplies of missiles to Ukraine for air defense systems fell threefold compared with 2025.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this after a meeting with the military, the Ministry of Defense, teams from the Security Service of Ukraine, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, and the President’s Office.
“Partners have missiles. What matters is that the necessary political decisions are still made on supplies and on speeding up production processes, including localization in Ukraine. This is what can provide tangible support not only to our country, but also to the global protection of life,” Zelenskyy said.
During the meeting, the sequence of additional steps to protect infrastructure facilities in Ukraine was determined.
They also discussed the situation at the front, where key attention is currently focused on Kostyantynivka and Slovyansk in Donetsk Region.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhaylo Drapatyy, Chief of the General Staff Ihor Skybyuk, and Acting Minister of Defence of Ukraine Yevhen Khmara reported on the condition of units and their needs in drones and funding.
The meeting also addressed personnel changes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, Zelenskyy heard a report from Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretskyy. The head of government, together with representatives of Ukrainian business, is preparing measures to support entrepreneurial and logistics activity in Ukraine.
The Defence Forces and intelligence identified priorities for August for long-range sanctions and for continuing operations against Russian oil facilities and refining.
“It is important that partners’ sanctions against Russia strengthen our long-range impact. We will discuss this with key states,” Zelenskyy concluded.
