On August 11, the Ministry of Finance raised nearly 2.3 billion hryvnyas for the state budget from an auction to place domestic government loan bonds.
This was reported by the Ministry of Finance press service.
The biggest proceeds came from 2.5-year hryvnya-denominated bonds yielding 16.07% per year — they added 999.92 million hryvnyas to the budget.
Significant inflows were also provided by one-year securities with a rate of 15.16% per year, which raised 719.74 million hryvnyas. Another 575.81 million hryvnyas was raised from domestic government bonds with a 1.7-year maturity at 15.64% per year.
Overall, since the start of 2026 the state has raised more than 319.06 billion hryvnyas through the domestic government bond mechanism, and since the beginning of the full-scale war this amount has exceeded 2.34 trillion hryvnyas.
