Russian forces attacked Zhytomyr with jet-powered drones. The attack hit the building of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Zhytomyr Region.

The head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Bunechko, reported this.

Rescuers from the State Emergency Service, emergency medical teams, police officers and other emergency services are working at the scene.

According to acting National Police Chief Maksym Tsutskiridze, two police officers were killed and at least 20 people were injured in the attack.

“The enemy is once again striking not only buildings. It is deliberately attacking people who work every day to keep others safe. Today, the building of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Zhytomyr Region came under attack. The strike caused a fire on the roof and the fourth floor,” he said.
