Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed strikes on targets in Russia and in the Black Sea.
“We continue, with our long-range sanctions, to return the consequences of the war to where it came from,” he wrote on Telegram.
According to the head of state, overnight deep strikes hit an oil refinery in Perm more than 1,600 kilometers from the border, as well as the Marinovka military airfield in Russia’s Volgograd Region. The president also said there were results in the Black Sea waters.
In addition, the results of previous strikes were confirmed: a Russian Su-34 aircraft was damaged at the Akhtubinsk airfield. The distance was about 600 kilometers from the front line.
In Primorsko-Akhtarsk, nearly 180 kilometers away, a site used to store, prepare, and launch attack drones was hit.
