The 1,644th day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 209 combat clashes were recorded over the past day.
The General Staff reported that yesterday the enemy carried out two missile strikes using three missiles and conducted 80 air strikes, during which it dropped 234 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 9,641 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,203 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, 83 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
Enemy artillery shelling in particular hit the settlements of Bachivsk, Korenok, Ryzhivka, Tovstodubove, Ulanove, Volfyne, Budky, Shpyl, Rohizne, Kucherivka, Bezsalivka, Vyntorivka, Havrylova Sloboda, Starykove, Atynske, Vovkivka, Malushyne, Seredyna-Buda and Yastrubshchyna in Sumy region; and Yanzhulivka, Bohdanove and Kliusy in Chernihiv region. Tovstodubove was hit by an air strike.
Over the past day, the Defence Forces’ aviation, missile troops and artillery struck 11 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, five artillery systems, a UAV control point and another key enemy target.
In the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions eight clashes were recorded over the past day. At the same time, the aggressor carried out 74 attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, seven of them using MLRS. The enemy also launched one air strike, using two guided aerial bombs.
In the South Slobozhanskyi direction Ukrainian units repelled 11 enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance towards the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Starytsia, Radkivka and Zarubynka.
In the Kupiansk direction there was one enemy offensive action towards Kurylivka.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled in the Lyman direction, where the occupiers attacked 14 times towards the settlements of Lyman, Novoselivka, Dibrova, Drobysheve and near Olhivka.
In the Sloviansk direction the enemy carried out ten assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Dibrova and Riznykivka, and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and Mykolaivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction the Russian invaders did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Kostiantynivka direction 19 attacks were recorded. The occupiers conducted assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Novoselivka and Hruzke, and towards the settlements of Vilne and Kucheriv Yar.
The enemy carried out 22 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers tried to advance towards the settlements of Novyi Donbas, Dobropillia, Vilne, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, Muravka and Novopavlivka, and in the area of Rodynske, Myrne, Kotlyne, Udachne and Novomykolaivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction the enemy carried out four attacks in the areas of Novyi Zaporizhzhia, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Oleksandrohrad and Krasnohirske.
In the Huliaipole direction the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions nine times. The enemy tried to advance in the areas of Rizdvianka, Rivne, Dolynka, Hirkе, Danylivka and Lisne.
In the Orikhiv direction our defenders stopped two attempts by the enemy to move forward near Novoiakivlivka.
In the Dnipro direction the enemy did not conduct assault actions over the past day.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,230 personnel. Also neutralised were nine armoured combat vehicles, 48 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, one air defence asset, ten ground robotic systems, 1,555 unmanned aerial vehicles, 448 vehicles and seven units of the enemy’s special equipment.
