Since the start of 2026, Ukrainian troops have carried out more than 100,000 logistics and evacuation missions using ground robotic systems. This was reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the year, the number of missions carried out by ground robotic systems has been increasing month by month. The monthly breakdown is as follows:
- January – 7,511;
- February – 7,960;
- March – 9,072;
- April – 11,028;
- May – 14,059;
- June – 16,664;
- July – 19,969;
- 20 days of August – 15,729.
So far, ground drones completed the most tasks in July.
At the same time, the ministry noted that demand for ground robotic systems continues to grow steadily. To significantly expand their use along the front line, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has substantially increased procurement volumes and the defined level of demand for ground robotic systems this year.
In particular, more than 22,000 units have already been contracted, almost twice as many as in the entire previous year. Service personnel have also already ordered ground robotic systems worth nearly UAH 1.9 billion via the Brave1 Market marketplace under the ePoints programme.
In June 2026, the then Defence Minister Mykhaylo Fedorov reported that since the start of the year, Ukrainian troops had already carried out more than 50,000 logistics and evacuation missions using ground robotic systems.
