Russia’s army attacked a high-rise building in Chernihiv on the afternoon of 24 August. There is significant damage.
The head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, reported the attack at around 12:00. According to updated information as of 12:36, 14 people have been injured.
“All emergency services are working at the impact site, the fire is being extinguished, but the process is complicated by heavy smoke at the strike location,” Bryzhynskyi said.
Among the casualties are children aged 12 and 17. Three people were taken to hospital, while the rest received assistance at the scene.
