On the night of 25 August, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles of various types. Air defences neutralised 124 unmanned aerial vehicles; Russian strike weapons hit 17 locations. Debris fell in a further seven places.

“On the night of 25 August (from 18:00 on 24 August), the enemy attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from Rostov Oblast, a Kh-31P guided air-launched missile from Bryansk Oblast, as well as 150 Shahed-type strike UAVs (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, and Parodiya-type decoy drones from the following directions: Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation, temporarily occupied Donetsk, Hvardiiske – temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” they said. 

The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defence shot down and suppressed 124 enemy Shahed-type UAVs, Gerbera, and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country.

As of the morning of 25 August, the attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
