US President Donald Trump has sharply criticised coverage of the United States’ military operation in Iran and the state of its ammunition stockpiles in a post on his Truth Social platform.
He insisted the country has almost unlimited stocks of mid- and high-end munitions—enough for this or any other potential war.
According to him, the US is producing and stockpiling ammunition in supposedly unprecedented volumes and is preparing for any scenario, keeping weapons for itself rather than selling them. However, the American president said arms sales to allies would be resumed soon.
The politician also claims that his predecessor Joe Biden’s administration transferred to Ukraine, free of charge, far more ammunition than the US used in Iran.
