In Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region, a drone strike killed a child. Another woman sustained serious injuries.
Chuhuiv Mayor Halyna Minaieva reported this on Facebook.
According to her, a Russian drone struck the very centre of the city less than half an hour before the post was published.
The strike damaged private homes. Emergency services are working at the scene.
Update as of 21:25. As Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov noted, in addition to the child, an 11-year-old boy, two more people have been killed. The victims of the shelling were a 19-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man. According to the mayor, they were a father and his children.
As a result of the strike, a private residential house, an outbuilding and a garage were destroyed. A fire broke out at the impact site.
Law enforcement officers, medics and rescuers are currently conducting a door-to-door sweep of the area to identify any possible casualties.
