On the morning of 9 September, a Russian drone struck a 24-storey residential building in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district. The impact occurred around the 11th–12th floors.
On the 12th floor, there was a fire and damage to walls. This was reported by Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
“Emergency services are working at the scene,” he said.
According to updated information from the Kyiv City State Administration as of 9:20, five people have been injured.
The capital has been under relentless drone terror since 27 August, with a pause for a visit by US negotiators. Yesterday, the enemy killed five people in Kyiv: three in the Solomianskyi district during a night-time missile-and-drone attack, and two more during the day in a strike on a warehouse.
