The Russian army damaged the Kyivstar company building during attacks on Kyiv using jet-powered drones. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this.
He noted that the enemy’s escalation with jet-powered “Shahed” drones is gradually becoming increasingly terroristic. Throughout the day, Russians have been deliberately striking petrol stations in Kyiv.
“Just today, and only as a result of these strikes, two people have been killed. My condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed. Another nine people were injured. Among them is a rescuer who was wounded by a repeat strike. They also hit the Kyivstar company building. And these attacks have continued since the night. There were strikes in Kyiv Region, Kirovohrad Region, Dnipropetrovsk Region, Odesa Region, Donetsk Region, Kherson Region, Kharkiv Region, and Mykolaiv Region,” the President said.
He called for maximum attention to be paid to protecting the skies and finding solutions to safeguard people, and to scaling up countermeasures against Russian drones.
