Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence has codified a new interceptor drone, the Air Baby 350, developed by Strix Air. This was reported by Defender Media.
According to the company, the Air Baby 350 can reach speeds of up to 350 km/h. The drone can remain airborne for up to 15 minutes and climb to an altitude of up to 6 km. Its tactical operating radius is 35 km, and the warhead weighs 500 g.
Strix Air notes that, compared with the previous model, the Air Baby 350 has better manoeuvrability and greater flight stability.
The Air Baby 350 starts at UAH 43,200 and depends on the camera installed. Certain versions of the interceptor are equipped with a Sine.Link communications module. According to the manufacturer, it expands the capability to detect and track aerial targets in challenging conditions. The company added that combat units are already using the new interceptor.
The previous version of the Air Baby began being supplied to the Ukrainian military in February, and in March Strix Air announced the start of its mass production. In the August “Army Bonus+” ranking, this interceptor placed 11th by number of targets hit. Strix Air reported that over the first seven months of this year, the military destroyed more than 1,000 aerial targets using the Air Baby.
As of July, since the start of 2026 the Ministry of Defence has codified and authorised for use in Ukraine’s Defence Forces 413 unmanned aerial systems. Almost all of the equipment is Ukrainian-made. The defence ministry said that it has now codified more than 30% more unmanned aerial systems than in the same period of 2025, and more than 73% more than in the same period of 2024.
The list of systems codified since the start of 2026 includes:
- aerial reconnaissance platforms of aerostat, fixed-wing and multicopter types;
- strike drones of fixed-wing and multicopter types;
- FPV drones;
- unmanned aerial system bombers;
- interceptor drones;
- relay drones;
- target drones;
- fibre-optic unmanned aerial systems;
- front-strike;
- deep-strike.
