16 Injured in Overnight Attack on Kyiv (Updated)

Damage has been recorded on both banks of the city.

In Kyiv, as of 8am, the number of people injured as a result of the enemy’s missile-and-drone attack has risen to 16. Among the victims are two children aged 10 and 12.

Nine people, including a child, have been taken to hospital. This was reported by Mayor Vitali Klitschko. 

Damage has been recorded in various districts on both banks. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, the consequences of the attack have been recorded at 10 locations. 

In the Dniprovskyi district, glazing and the façade of a three-storey office building were damaged, and windows were blown out in several buildings. Debris also fell on warehouse premises and near a petrol station. Another office and a residential building were damaged.

In the Darnytskyi district, warehouses and vehicles were damaged. 

In the Podilskyi district, the roof of a non-residential building was damaged.

In the Sviatoshynskyi district, there was a strike on a non-residential building. 

“In the Solomianskyi district, according to preliminary information, a warehouse building has been destroyed. There is preliminarily no fire,” the mayor said.

On the left bank, in the Sviatoshynskyi and Solomianskyi districts, water supply pressure was reduced after the strikes. The problems have been resolved.
