Ukraine supports extending the entry ban on participants in Russia’s aggression not only to EU countries, but also to the Group of Seven states, Australia and South Korea.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi said this at a briefing, Ukrinform reports.
He said Ukraine believes Estonia’s practice of banning entry to participants in Russia’s aggression against Ukraine should be extended to all EU countries. Kyiv is also ready to provide European states with a list of Russian servicemen.
"Having taken this step in the EU, we will extend its effect to other countries, including the Group of Seven (G7). That is, of course, we are talking about the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, as well as Australia, the Republic of Korea and, possibly, other relevant states," Tykhyi said.
- The EU is considering introducing a ban on entry to the EU for former Russian combatants and tightening visa restrictions for Russian tourists.
