President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed that the Yaroslavl oil refinery was hit overnight on 17 September. The operation was carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Foreign Intelligence Service.
The SBU also attacked a military airfield in Rostov. Enemy aircraft were hit there.
“The strike on an An-12 aircraft, two An-26s and three more helicopters has been confirmed,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
There have also been results in the Black Sea.
- Russia’s Ministry of Defence reported an attack involving hundreds of drones. The Russians claimed they had neutralised more than 640 UAVs.
