In Zhytomyr Region, firefighters have extinguished fires that broke out as a result of Russian shelling.
According to the State Emergency Service, following another round of shelling today, a fire broke out at a transport infrastructure facility, and dry grass also caught alight.
Because of repeated strikes, firefighters were unable to begin tackling the blaze immediately.
At the scene, in addition to firefighters, bomb disposal experts from the regional State Emergency Service were also working — they were searching for possible explosive hazards.
All fires have been extinguished. According to preliminary information, there are no fatalities or injuries.
