On the night of 21 September, the Russian army launched 172 drones of various types and Banderol/Dan-T at Ukraine. Strikes were recorded at 14 locations, and debris fell at a further four sites.
The Air Force said that, overall, 148 Russian targets were neutralised.
It is noted that Russia, starting from 18:00 on 20 September, attacked with 172 Shahed-type strike UAVs (64 of them jet-powered), Gerbera drones, Parodiya decoy drones, as well as Banderol/Dan-T, from the directions of: Belgorod, Shatalovo, Oryol, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo in the Russian Federation, as well as from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and from Hvardiyiske in Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defences shot down and suppressed 147 Russian Shahed-type UAVs, Gerbera drones, drones of other types, and one Banderol/Dan-T.
As of this morning, the attack is ongoing, with several Russian UAVs in the airspace.
