The 1,671st day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 238 combat clashes were recorded over the past day. The highest number of engagements took place on the Kostyantynivka axis of the front.
As the General Staff reported, yesterday the Russian forces carried out 91 air strikes, during which it dropped 295 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 10,237 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,903 strikes on populated areas and the positions of our troops, 35 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
Russian shelling, in particular, hit the settlements of Bezsalivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Rohizne, Tovstodubove, Potapivka, Sopych, Kucherivka, Budky, Iskryskivshchyna, Fotovyzh, Vovkivka, Volfyne, Vilna Sloboda, Shpyl, Starykove, Kruzhok, Malushyne, Rudenka and Khrinivka in Sumy region; and Mykhalchyna-Sloboda, Huta-Studenetska and Chervonyy Khutir in Chernihiv Region.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces struck four areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, four UAV command-and-launch points, four artillery systems and artillery positions, and three key Russiantargets.
On the North Slobozhanskyy and Kursk axes, six Russian assault actions were recorded over the past day. The aggressor carried out two air strikes using four guided aerial bombs and conducted 65 strikes on the positions of our troops and populated areas, four of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South Slobozhanskyy axis, Ukrainian units repelled seven enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance towards the settlements of Tokarivka, Okhrimivka, Mykolaivka and Vilcha.
On the Kupyansk axis, the Russian military tried six times to improve its positions, conducting assault actions towards Podoly, Kivsharivka, Zapadne, Radkivka and Fyholivka.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled on the Lyman axis, where the occupiers attacked 15 times towards the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Novoselivka, Drobyshcheve, Lyman and Shyikivka.
On the Slovyansk axis, the enemy carried out five assault actions in the area of Kalenyky, Kryva Luka and Mykolayivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy did not conduct assault actions.
On the Kostyantynivka axis, according to updated information, 24 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions in the areas of the settlement of Kostiantynivka and towards Illinivka, Dovha Balka, Mykolaypillya, Toretske, Pryyut, Kucherovyy Yar, Vilne, Nove Shakhove and Novoselivka.
The enemy carried out nineteen attacks on the Pokrovsk axis. According to updated information, the occupiers tried to advance towards the settlements of Novyi Donbas, Vodianske, Dobropillia, Novohryshyne, Novopidhordnie, Serhiivka, Molodetske and Vasylivka.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy assaulted towards Myrne.
On the Hulyaipole axis, the Russian forces attacked the positions of our defenders twice. The Russians tried to advance towards the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv axis, according to updated information, the enemy twice tried to improve its positions towards Pavlivka and Lukianivske.
On the Dnipro axis, the occupiers did not conduct offensive actions.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the Russians forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,660 personnel. Also neutralised were five tanks, four armoured combat vehicles, 75 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, three air defence assets, 17 ground robotic systems, 1,728 unmanned aerial vehicles, 516 vehicles and 13 units of the Russia's special equipment.
