The National Anti-Corruption Bureau has warned that a fake video is circulating on social media, allegedly showing a search at the home of the former head of the Defence Procurement Agency.
“A video is being shared online about alleged NABU searches at the former head of the Defence Procurement Agency, in which boxes of money and a provocative inscription are deliberately shown. This clip is a fake created using AI,” the Bureau said.
They believe such material is evidence of how artificial intelligence tools are increasingly being used by the enemy for information warfare. The aim of such content is to discredit independent anti-corruption bodies, undermine trust in state institutions and damage Ukraine’s image.
