On the morning of 30 September, following a night-time ballistic missile and drone attack, Russia continued striking various districts of Kyiv. In Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyy district, debris was found on the grounds of a Western country’s embassy, Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported.
Emergency services are heading to the scene. No further details are available yet.
“According to preliminary information, in the Shevchenkivskyy district, in central Kyiv, debris was found on the grounds of one of the Western embassies,” he said.
After that, the enemy struck warehouses in the Solomyanskyy district. A lorry caught fire. The driver, an employee of Kyivteploenergo, was killed.
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, one more person has been injured.
“In the Solomianskyi district, a warehouse facility has been damaged. Unfortunately, one person was killed as a result of the strike. We extend our condolences to family and loved ones. It is also known that one person was injured,” the statement said.
Foreign diplomatic missions have repeatedly been damaged as a result of hostile attacks on Kyiv. Damage has been recorded on multiple occasions at the Embassy of Azerbaijan, located in Lukianivka.
