Over the past day in Sumy Region, two people were killed and 15 were injured as a result of Russian attacks.
According to the Regional Military Administration, in the Seredyna-Buda community, a mortar strike killed two men aged 40 and 64. Men aged 49, 65 and 50 and a 76-year-old woman were wounded; men aged 43 and 53 were injured. Women aged 43 and 66 and a 59-year-old man also sought medical help after being injured on 29 September when an enemy drone struck.
In the Sumy community, strikes by guided aerial bombs injured a 52-year-old man and women aged 84, 83 and 60; a 41-year-old man and women aged 76 and 71 were injured, and a 68-year-old woman was affected. A 49-year-old man was wounded in a UAV strike.
Over the day, Russian forces carried out 80 attacks on 23 settlements in 12 territorial communities across the Region. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka districts.
The enemy used artillery, mortars, FPV drones, UAVs and guided aerial bombs against Sumy region.
Civilian infrastructure was damaged and destroyed.

Over the day, the air-raid alert in the region lasted 20 hours 58 minutes.
