Ukraine’s Defence Forces attacked enemy oil facilities overnight on 2 October in response to an escalation on the Russia’s part. Enterprises in the Samara and Volgograd Regions were hit, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
He noted that the defenders are effectively responding to the Russians with long-range strikes almost every day. The President thanked the servicemen of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces and the Foreign Intelligence Service for their accuracy and professionalism.
“Over the past day, oil facilities in the Samara and Volgograd regions were hit.
